Review of Korean Medicine Treatments for Nummular Eczema in Korean Journals

Abstract

|
Objectives : The purpose of this study is to analyze the trend of Korean medical treatments on nummular eczema.
Methods : Based on OASIS, NDSL, RISS, KTKP, KISS, KCI with the keyword ‘Nummular Eczema’. published in 2000-2019.08.31, total 11 studies have been found and analyzed.
Results : Among 11 studies, 21 cases were selected. Herb medicine, acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, externals, other treatments were used as treatment for nummular eczema. All of research which selected have reported that the Korean medical treatment was effective.
Conclusions : According to the results, Korean medical treatments can be effective treatment for nummular eczema. Further clinical studies are expected using evaluation methods to analyze the results and to establish high level of evidence.
